FLAKEBOARD - Industrial Grade Particleboard

Industrial Grade Particleboard (Flakeboard) is designed for applications where strength and surface smoothness are important. The press process in making this board results in a graduated, three-layer board with a structural center for strength and stability and a fine particle surface for smoothness. It is manufactured for use as core stock in furniture components, stereo and TV cabinets, store fixtures, counter tops, kitchen cabinets, bookcases and for general shelving and partitions. Its smooth surfaces make it highly suitable for use as a lamination substrate for all types of surfaces such as high-pressure laminate, vinyl overlays and wood veneers. Thermally set decorative papers are used in the manufacture of Melamine panels on a particleboard core.

Our particleboard panels are available in a wide range of standard sizes and thicknesses.

Stock Panel sizes from 25 x 97 up to 61 x 121.

We have select cut to size panels – but we can also bring in specific cut to size panels per your design, and door core at thick as 1-15/16”.

Use Particleboard raw or surfaced with veneer, paper, PVC, etc. Meeting the requirements and procedures of the European Standards, its characteristics make it an outstanding option in many interior and furniture uses, especially due to its excellent behavior on being cut, milled, sandpapered and finished.
